Just go about your business if you see this Audi pull up next to you at a traffic light, youd lose. This car was sold here completely stock. It was a beautiful, well taken care of, low mileage car. Doug Jrs girlfriend, Amanda, bought it and fell in love. Santorin Blue with white leather interior, the pictures dont do this color scheme justice, its gorgeous. Eventually, we decided to see what this engine was really capable of. We pulled the motor and upgraded to Borg Warner RS4 turbos and inlet pipes. While the engine was out, we replaced all the seals that commonly go bad and performed a full service/tune-up. We upgraded the injectors, MAF housing, air box, and ECU thanks to Mike at VAST. The intake manifold and headers were port-matched to ensure no turbulence in the engine. Bailey diverter valves were installed to handle high boost pressures that were soon to come. The clutch and motor mounts were also upgraded with parts from an RS4. The motor was then re-installed but we didnt stop there. The catalytic converters were eliminated and replaced with test pipes. AWEs twin 2 tru-dual exhaust with polished rolled edge tips was a must to let this engine breath. We knew that this car would be spending much of its time near red line on the tach, so heat soak was a concern that was remedied by a 200% larger front mounted intercooler. Then, to monitor the boost we gave it a VDO boost gauge mounted on the steering column. Now that this car has officially achieved "supercar" status, we had to make it stand out a little from the crowd. We wanted to keep the cosmetic changes subtle to avoid looking gaudy. So we installed an RS4 front grill, euro style white headlights, chrome mirror housings, front euro plate and a Rieger RS4 front bumper to show off that massive intercooler.
